Borderless Distribution is a global eCommerce logistics and strategy company that partners with some of the largest brands in the world to distribute product on Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and more. We have 6 warehouses in 5 countries around the globe and offer a unique distribution model to our partners. We currently ship 28-30 million units a year and are growing rapidly. We're seeking a dependable, full-time Materials Coordinator at our warehouse in Hebron, KY.

The Materials Coordinator will manage the consistency and adherence to Borderless standards. This Coordinator will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-add servicing and dispatch of a wide variety of products. They will ensure inventory accuracy targets are achieved and provide consistent adherence to established policies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Operate internally built WMS
  • Lead cycle counting on floor with associates
  • Reconcile orders from manufacturer and communicate with finance on adjustments
  • Ensure inventory accuracy and control, overseeing receipt, storage, retrieval, and timely shipment of goods
  • Ensure the safety of all team members by teaching, promoting, and exemplifying safety guidelines
  • Oversee team of warehouse associates
  • Tracking attendance and approving time cards
  • Administer progressive discipline due to employee behavioral/productivity issues
  • Daily meetings to ensure company changes, policies, and procedure updates are communicated to team
  • Uphold company policies and professional workplace behavior by leading by example

Qualifications

  • 2+ years materials role or Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred Supply Chain or Data Analytics Focus)
  • 1-2 years of management/leadership experience for more than 10 people in an entry level environment
  • Able to maintain confidentiality
  • Practice fair and consistent management style with ability to lead by example
  • Comfortable working and communicating with a diverse employee demographic
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Accuracy and detail oriented
  • Willing to take and follow directions
  • Dependable and punctual
  • Strong leadership skills with ability to motivate and inspire employees to maximize their efforts in productivity and quality
  • Well-developed interpersonal communications skills (written & verbal) with the ability to effectively and sensitively address employee concerns
  • Time management skills with the ability to effectively prioritize, as well as a strong attention to detail
  • Outstanding organizational skills with both system and manual production environments
  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems, Proficient use of Microsoft Office especially including Outlook, Excel, as well as Google Sheets, Paylocity (Employee Portal and Management System), Shelf, DropBox

Physical Demands

  • Ability to walk or stand for 8-10 hours
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs by hand
  • Pull, push, bend, kneel, crouch
  • OT required during peak season
